Palm Springs

I was privileged enough to be able to travel this time across country to California. Palm Springs to be specific. This is a wonderful city that I just fell in love with. I was able to be here on vacation for a month and a half enjoyed every minute of it. I was able to actually meet my dearest and best friend Jeffrey. He took me all around and showed me sites that I would’ve never seen on my own. I was lucky enough that I didn’t have to rent a hotel room for the time that I was there, as he was generous enough to allow me to stay with him while I was there. Before arriving into Palm Springs, I was in Los Angeles and got to tour parts of that beautiful city before my train arrived to take me to Palm Springs. Los Angeles is also another beautiful city. While in Palm Springs, I was able to do some much needed shopping and tourism. I was able to visit Cathedral City, Palm Desert, and a few other cities in the area. If I had the chance today I would definitely pack my things and move there. California is a wonderful and beautiful state, a lot better than what Illinois is. I wouldn’t take this experience and trade for anything. I don’t think if Jeffrey wasn’t there I wouldn’t have ever made the trip to California. Although I wish he was staying at his flat in NYC, so that I could’ve traveled there and seen the city as well. But thats another chapter in my book that I will get to open and explore. I can say that I am proud and fortunate enough to be able to travel to such beautiful cities while some can’t and to be able to share my experiences with everyone.
